so i'm sitting here, on the laptop, one of my roommates in bed with his gf, the other on the other side of the building.

we hear a door open (door leading to some stairs outside our door) and then POP POP POP POP POP POP

i think its someone who came out and started hitting pans, my roommate thought it was someone getting shot. we all sit there, in silence, scared like crazy cuz it was all quiet then loud like WHOA.

my roommates gf tells me to lock the door, but once i get up, the fire alarm goes off. so i gotta put on pants, hat, jacket, shoes. we walk outside...

someone lit off fireworks. right by our fucking door. we walk down, go outside in the cold, yada yada, i tell some girls the story, i tell all my friends what the hell happened. then we go back in, and after walking up stairs that smell of beer and drenched with vomit, we get back to our room, where right outside it are cops picking up the fireworks.
