: Hey Nick!
Phoenix: Oh, hey Maya. What's up?
Maya: Nick, tommorow's Pearly's birthday, and I though to celebrate, we could go to the annual LA air show.
Phoenix: Well, how much does it cost?
Maya: Well... $25 for adults, $12 for kids.
Phoenix: Uh, isn't that a wee bit expensive?
Maya: Oh, come on Nick! It's for Pearly!
Phoenix: Oh, all right then. I'll pay for Pearls...

Phoenix: My name is Phoenix Wright. I'm a hot shot lawyer.
This is my assistant Maya Fey. She's friendly and a good person to know. She's daughter of the Master of the Kurain Spirit channeling technique. This is Pearl Fey, Maya's little cousin. She too knows the Kurain Channeling technique, but is far more advanced at it than Maya.

Phoenix: Pearls walked through the door to our offices. Me and Maya shouted "surprise!" and sang her happy birthday. Pearls had never looked so happy in her life, but that was because Kurain doesn't celebrate birthdays. After we gave Pearls her presents, Maya told her about the air show.
: Hey Pearly! To celebrate your birthday, we're going to an air show!
: What's an air show?
: It's where aeroplanes do really cool stunts!
Pearl: I have no idea what you are on about. But it sounds fun! When is it?
Maya: Today!
Pearl: OK! Let's go!
