Full Version: The Mitchell Report
Yoshio
The governement investigation on steroids known as the Mitchell Report has been released to the public, and if you follow sports than you certainly saw the names

so which of the named players do you think took performance enhancing drugs, and which do you think got lumped in with the bad uns, or do you not believe any of them?

what of the players that went out and admitted to taking these drugs? Do you forgive them? Discussion/ranting over this whole steroid thing can go here

as for me

People who denied, that I believe

1. David Justice: This guy went right out and denied everything right away. He gave several convincing arguments that really do make alot of sense, unlike the vague excuses you hear from most people, also, he had the confidence to go out and face the public on his own, without a lawyer ora week of dodging questions, only an innocent person has that kind of confidence, as much as I would like to see a Yankees championship teamed tarnished by a juicer, this guy is legit, I would be so shocked if it was proven that he took HGH

2. Paul Byrd: It just isn't his style. I might be biased because he was always a favorite pitcher of mine, but he is a tough grind it out low velocity pitcher. He just seems very genuine and is always going on about the value of hard work, doesn't seem like the type to cheat

I'll get to the rest of the folks later, its just that there is alot to type...for now lets concentrate on these 2

i dont even know what to think about clemans. i mean, f***, it takes him a week to respond with a lame ass announcement through his lawyer.

That's why I don't believe him for a second

the news that the Times article he didn't respond to was false only makes him even more fishy. If he truly never took steroids, than he would have known this article was a lie and raised a gigantic fuss, but he ignored it and hoped it went away

that says to me that he took steroids and was trying to figure out how Grimsley could have known about it, not knowing that the article was bull

Smoltz said it well, if Clemens was wrongly accused, he would be going out there and denying it himself wherever he can, hiding behind lawyers is what guilty people do

I hope the guy gets an asterik next to all his cy youngs after 1977
