Well, after talking to MastaWario it seems that I will be stepping down from being a Admin here. If your wondering why it's because I havent really been active here, or helped out much...
along with the fact that they want to do things that I personally don't find to be a good idea. So basically I'm in the way of a few staff.I'm sure I won't be missed due to my inactivity, it'll pretty much be the same. Except for that the name of the forum will be changed, so your gonna need a new banner, and pretty much whatever MastaWario and Yoshio wants to add in here to gain a few extra members.
Well good luck with the forum.

anyway, what this means is that we will be changing the name of the forums, and that there will be some shifts in the staff
also, there is a big project we are planning, its kinda exciting.
heh, it seems that every time a big announcement is made, there is a new one right around the corner here

Though, hopefully we can just look past this and still be friends. You're always welcomed here, being one of the creators of SSF from the very beginning along with JC, Zulen, Exodus, and I.
Man, we were one hell of a team...then many things just changed all at once...

Every single text that Sypher just typed is the same with me. Although I'm not just gonna up and leave the place, there's a few things happening here that I don't agree with. I'd try to voice my opinion on things, but it's apparent to me that my words are of no avail or wouldn't be of no avail. Why haven't I been coming here lately? Well, look around the forum and you'll see the reason(s) starring dead at you.
Meh, I'm not gonna up and leave though. I'll see ya around, Sypher.

Well, since your a Administrator they should take your opinion seriously. Though I really havent been helping out with the forum, which is basically one of the reasons why I'm stepping down.
I pretty much have too many things to do.

We haven't hosted LotSS for months, for those that never heard about that. Though we should have announced that earlier.

and yeah, Sypher moved his flash series to VGLan awhile ago, when that happened we stopped being a forum about his series, then he stopped coming to the forum, so this was kinda inevitale
EDIT: and Moon, we have to change the name, its going to be changed whether we like it or not

Heh, you guys seriously need to learn how to stay on topic. Take the decision making for the new name elsewhere, if you aren't going to be saying anything referring to my brother leaving his position here on these forums, then don't bother posting at all. Yeah, you will have to change the name, make a thread somewhere and discuss it.
I'm actually rather disappointed in how this played out. I knew my brother wasn't as active as he should have been, and hadn't helped out much with the forum in general.
But, MastaWario, you should have been more respectful in asking him to resign, if you are his friend and wanted to avoid an argument, it may have been best to talk about it with all three of you present and not in a foul mood. If a friend of mine came to me asking for something I didn't use, with an attitude, then he wouldn't have gotten it. Thats all I have to say anyway...

You're right. I did jump into that, as I usually do when I feel I should get something off my chest. I have apologized to Sypher at the way that convo started out.

the whole situation was somthing that was bothering Mastawario very much for quite some time
I feel that this is somthing that just plain needed to happen I felt that way ever since Sypher took LoTSS away from this forum and moved it to VGLan, which is why I posted that I felt awkward at the start of this topic

now, TUL suggested that the new name should be "Neo Star Forums" we kinda like this name, how does everyone else feel about it?

but Sypher gave up this place when he abandoned us for the second time by moving his series to VGLan, which was just to try and get a wider audience for himself
Mastawario has been the most hard working admin here since the very first incarnation of this forum, he fought to keep it alive after 2 previous owners (Exodus and later Sypher) tried to kill it
he desereves to be the owner of this site more than anyone else does and it has always been his forum because he is the only one who ever seriously worked to make it a good place
and we are not screwing this place up, the only reason Sypher opposes the recent things we have added is because he is now working in the interests of VGLan

I seriously don't like how my brother decides to make this thread and without arguing to tell you guys hes going to leave and you guys not even in the second page of the thread, start talking about the forums new name. Blowing off what my brother posted, some of you didn't even say anything regarding his post. Which I find to be rather screwed up if you don't mind me saying. Yes, the original purpose of the forum was because of my brothers flash movie. Now it isn't, but some of you could at least speak to him instead of ignoring his post and rushing the thread to be ended.
Also I didn't say you or anyone else was screwing up the forum, what I said was an expression. "Screw it how you like" as in "Do with it, what you want.".

You know, you assume too much. First off, I did move LOTSS to VGlan because I needed a bigger audience, not because I wanted fame all to myself, but because there was a low chance of the series actually getting much attention. Call it selfish if you want, but it's necessary when your making something like this. Yes, Mastawario worked the hardest to keep this place alive and I thank him for that, But I never wanted to kill this place, so don't accuse me of crap that you don't know about.
And the reason why I was "opposing," your ideas was because I don't think it was good for this place, It doesn't suit it, especially when it concerns copyright laws. Not because I'm doing this for VGlan.
I get all this crap from you because I moved LOTSS, you act like I really killed the forum, when as of right now it's been the most active since I moved. You should be happy, but instead your acting selfish.
You keep acting like you deserve root admin, but honestly, all you do is give constructive ideas. Which lots of people can do, and isn't really fit for the root admin status, in my opinion. Which is also why I am stepping down from my position, because I am not living up to root admin status.
To be honest your no better then Exodus.

Congrats, you're both officially acting like children.
Moving LotSS is entirely Sypher's decision, and as I have heard so many times from you and MW, SSF is so much more than just LotSS's home base. If this was true, why are you treating it's move to be a big deal.
As well, Sypher is right when it comes to copyrights. This was the main reason I didn't put Anime Lan on my site to begin with. You cannot blame him for disagreeing with you on this one.
And of course Sypher, you cannot blame Yoshio and MW for feeling betrayed when you moved LotSS to VGLan. You all have gotten yourselves into quite the situation, no?
EDIT: And Lucas, you shouldnt be suprised that Sypher's stepping down is not being held in high regards. He was simply not active enough to cause that much of a stir.

If that was the situation then instead of turning the conversation, you should have taken it into another thread and not posted again in this one.
Lmao, you should give him a chance. He will give up his powers, but then all this stuff happened, so relax.

Mastawario DOES deserve the main root admin. but it concerns me of why you are all arguing about it. yes the topic got off to another subject. yes tempers brewed up high and boiling, but we should be Giving Sypher a good nice goodbye becuase HE was the previous Main admin. Either you guys don't like him or not you need to show respect for this post. for people who don't like him at least be nice, put in a good post wishing him a nice time in other places or someting like that. but it seems to me to be just plain rude of all of you to be argueing in this topic about a forum name change.
