Long, long ago, even before the rise of the Mushroom and Koopa Kingdom... Before the birth of recent cilivilasions...
Lived an organization called the Stellar Tribe.
The stellar tribe lived to worship the Stars, and used the Stellar Power given by the Power Stars to watch over the world as guardian servants.
They did all they could to protect the world, but there was a problem...
They could only do so at night!
The world, leaving unprotected at day, was sensitive. The Stellars had to find a solution...
They prayed the stars, and the stars replied by sending one of their elite, the Sun, to watch over the world at day.
Eventually, as most of the Stellars continued to worship the stars, some of them left the group to worship the Sun.
Not long after the Solars, the tribe worshipping the sun, were born, the Sun needed some help. He ordered the Solars to bring him Power Stars, and with them, the Sun made something at his image... The Power Shines, and The Shine Sprites.
Of course, this didn't go unnoticed by the Stellars. At first, they didn't mind... But as more and more Power Stars dissapeared in favor of the Shine Sprites, they became more and more furious. To the point where the Stellars threatened the Solars.
"There is no more place for 2 protectors of the universe. Eitheir you GTFO or we declare war!"
The Solars, annoyed by the threat, declared war to the Stellars...
Then war came. The world plunged in a Total Chaos during the war. It lasted loooooooong! Something like, maybe a day or a century... No one really knows.
But at the end of the war, the Stellars plummeted the Solars... And so, the Solars were forced to gtfo. But before then, they swore revenge and that they will protect the world someday. They left the Shine Sprites, servants of the Power Shine, to protect various areas in the world, who were still the Solars' to a certain extent, while their absence.
The Stellars soon after left the world to watch over it, domining most of it...
"And that's the legend of the Stellar War." Orange concluded, before closing the book.
"Wow, that's Super Interresting and stuff."
Blue was working on his next invention. He didn't pay much attention to Orange's reading.
"Yeah, right. Like if you listened."
Orange put the book back on the shelf and sat onto his armchair.
